We are officially finishing up our A is for Apple theme today!
With some unexpected things popping up recently, it took us a little longer than expected to get through but it was definitely a lot of fun. Our final activity was no different.
Making patterns with different objects is something we have been working on for a few weeks now, so it seemed like the perfect thing to add to our apple unit.
These printable apple patterns are so easy to print and use and if you pair them with pom poms, there’s no mess to clean up later!
We started out using them with pom poms and then once Nicholas had a handle on the patterns, we swapped over to Do-A-Dot markers and made our patterns a little more permanent.
Working patterns is such a great way to practice those early math skills and this particular activity was the perfect way to finish off our apple unit.
Keeping with the Fall season, we’ll be moving straight from apples to pumpkins so make sure you check back and join us for that!
