One thing that you’ve probably already figured out about us is that we love Do-A-Dot markers :)
We love using them with regular Do-A-Dot printables and we love finding fun new ways to use them even more!
Since we love them so much, I figured that we should probably find a way to include them in the A is for Apple theme unit that we’ve been enjoying so much over the past few weeks.
So, as one of our last apple activities, we used our favorite markers on a fun printable letter A apple tree!
All you’re going to need for you preschooler to enjoy this are some Do-A-Dot markers (or circular stickers if you’d rather) and the printable.
Since I used both upper and lowercase A on the printable, we decided to use two different colors of markers.
So not only is your preschooler getting to work on those fine motor skills, but they are also learning to differentiate between upper and lowercase letters!
Since this was supposed to be an apple tree, we went with red and yellow for our dots, or “apples.”
All of the uppercase letters were dotted red and the lowercase letters were made yellow but feel free to use any colors you and your preschooler like!
Are your children Do-A-Dot fans as well? What’s your favorite way to use them?
