With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’ve been enjoying some quick and easy heart themed activities and this Valentine Tic Tac Toe game is about as simple as they come!
From counting and pattern matching to Valentine popcorn, we love celebrating this fun holiday.
Our heart shaped bees and adorable name practice love bugs should probably tell you that much.
But, in our quest to find something quick and easy to fill in some moments throughout our homeschooling day, we decided to try a family favorite. Tic Tac Toe!
Valentine Themed Tic Tac Toe
We busted out our Valentine mini erasers, but you could use anything from counting bears to conversation hearts! If you’ve laminated your game, a dry erase marker would work as well.
Now, Tic Tac Toe is a ton of fun, but it’s also surprisingly educational.
With this simple game, your child will work on math, critical thinking, and fine motor skills. As a bonus, it’s also a fantastic way to work on the concept of taking turns.
Included in this set are two Valentine-themed Tic Tac Toe boards (half-page) so you can pick your favorite.
Just print them off, cut the page in half, laminate if you’d like, and you’re ready to play.
These boards are perfect for quick brain breaks throughout the day, but they also make fantastic travel games! Just throw the boards and some mini erasers, conversation hearts, or a dry erase marker into a pencil case and you can take it with you wherever you go. Just pull the pencil case out if you need a quick activity to keep the kiddos occupied in the waiting room at the doctor’s office or even while you’re waiting for your food at a restaurant.
They’ll have so much fun playing that they won’t even realize that they’re learning at the same time!
