Flashcards are a great way for your toddler or preschooler to learn everything from numbers to letters and colors and today I’ve got a set of printable crayon color flashcards for you that are a lot of fun!
Nicholas has always loved flashcards. I’m not quite sure what it is about them but he could go through them for hours.
We’ve made some printable letter and number flashcards in the past, but after a while he seemed to tire of them so we moved onto something else.
All of a sudden that love of flashcards seems to have returned and he was looking for something new. Since he has already learned the basic colors, these are really more for review than anything but we’ve found some fun new ways to use them too.
Over the past couple of days, we’ve used these just to review our colors and we’ve gone on numerous color scavenger hunts around our house to find things that match the crayon colors.
The next time we happen to have a day without rain, we’ll be taking that activity outside to see what all we can find out in nature that matches these crayons.
I went ahead and laminated ours since he loves playing with them so much but you could easily just print and go!
