As we put together our home preschool calendar board last week, I wanted to make sure that we included an area for the daily weather and with a little bit of Velcro and some fun clip art, we were able to do just that.
Within the download, there are 8 different weather cards that cover everything from sunny to snowing :)
For our calendar board, we actually used Velcro to create two available spots for our daily weather. I wanted to be able to not only talk about the actual weather event, sunny, raining, snowing, etc., but also to add a space for the temperature as well.
For your own board, of course, you could easily just add a single piece of Velcro and work with that if you’d prefer.
However, you choose to use them, try pairing them with some of these fun weather themed activities when you introduce them to give your little ones a little taste of just what the different types of weather are and what they can do.
