I know it seems a bit hard to believe that the month of September is already coming to an end, but it is. I mean, we were just talking about summer weren’t we?!
Now we’re moving into the month of October and as the air turns crisper and the mornings colder, our thoughts have turned from the back to school season to the costumes and candy that have already started showing up on the store shelves.
Since we’ve decided to update our home preschool calendar board each month this year, we’ve started getting it ready for the month of October and are following up our paint themed set from September with a slightly spookier, Halloween themed set.
The printable set includes the month card for October, pieces for the days of the week, and of course it just wouldn’t be Halloween themed without a a few tombstones thrown in, so those make up the numbers for the month.
Each of these pieces are sized to fit our preschool calendar board that we made at the beginning of last year, so if you made one of your own or made one that is similar in size, these should work perfectly for you.
Use these as you would with either the original school supply set or last month’s set. Just cut the pieces out, add some Velcro to the back, and start adding them to your board.
Since we’re making a new themed set for each month this year, I plan on saving them as we make them so we can reuse them on our calendars for years to come.
