If you’ve spent any amount of time working on numbers with your child, then you know just how important reviewing is.
As with any new concept, going over them once and expecting them to stick usually isn’t going to cut it.
The same could easily be said for other concepts like number words and ten frames as well.
Fortunately, these ten frame number word puzzles will give you the opportunity to review all three of those concepts at once!
Even being as simple as they are, these ten frame number word puzzles still provide your child with an excellent review of all three concepts and they’re a whole lot more fun than trying to practice using either worksheets or flashcards.
Ten Frame Puzzles for 0-20
If you were on the lookout for an easy to prep activity for your math center, this is it!
In fact, these puzzles will take you all of 20 minutes to throw together.
Just print them out, cut each of the puzzles into two pieces, run them through your laminator for durability if you’d like, and you’re good to go!
Within this download, you’ll find 21 number word puzzles covering numbers 0 through 20 and all of them are in black and white making them super printer-friendly!
The top piece of each two-piece puzzle contains the number word written out. The bottom piece contains the number, once again, in a ten frame.
Have your child work on matching the various pieces together to make all 21 number puzzles.
If they’re struggling with all 21 or you feel like they may be overwhelmed by them all at once, start off by using the first ten or so and work on mastering those before adding in the second set of ten.
