One thing we use a lot of in our home preschool is puzzles.
Not only are they a lot of fun to put together but they’re even more fun to make and they have so many educational benefits for your child!
With them being a favorite activity in our house our space theme coming up, I knew we had to find a way to combine the two and maybe even work in a little skill practice as well.
This space themed cut and paste puzzle pack is perfect for that!
If you have a little one that needs to work on improving their scissor skills, look no further!
This printable puzzle pack includes 16 pages and 20 different puzzles so there is sure to be something that everyone will love!
They’re all super easy to manipulate as well.
When you download the pack, you’ll have 20 different puzzles to choose from. Some are large, think full 8.5″ x 11″ paper size, and some are smaller half size puzzles.
Both full color and black and white versions are included in the pack as well so if you want to take your little one’s creativity a step further and let them decorate their own rocket ship, go ahead!
Once you’ve got them downloaded and printed out, just have your child cut along the lines to turn their puzzle into pieces :)
All of the puzzles in this pack are made up of straight line cuts so they are perfect for those that are just learning to use a pair of scissors.
Once your pieces are cut, the only thing left to do is put them all back together again!
We just used a sheet of construction paper as a background and once we figured out the right order, glued them all into place.
They very quickly became a favorite activity for my oldest this week and we’ve been coloring and cutting out own space themed puzzles ever since!
