Using the Santa Shape Matching File Folder Game
Once your reindeer shapes are all laminated, you’re ready to start matching!
Lay out the various reindeer shapes and have your child work through them.
See if they can name each shape as they pick them up and once they have, have them find the correct Santa shape to match them with.
Included in this Christmas game are ten different shapes for your child to practice naming and matching.
Whether your child is just starting to learn their shapes or has mastered most of them, this Christmas themed file folder game is an excellent way to practice!
If they’re just beginning to learn the names and properties of shapes, start off by making the game a bit smaller and use only the basic shapes such as circle, square, triangle, etc.
Once they’ve worked their way through those, add in the other, more difficult shapes like hexagon, trapezoid, and so on.
By Christmas, they’ll be a pro at naming and matching Santa and all of his reindeer!
