The turkey, the pies, there is so much to get done before you can actually sit down and enjoy the meal with your family and friends that it can feel a little overwhelming at times.
Trying to keep the kids busy at the same time can make things a little chaotic, to say the least.
It doesn’t have to be though!
Over the next few days as you start cleaning for out of town guests and start prepping for the meal, grab a copy of this free printable Thanksgiving word search and let the kids enjoy!
Now, word searches are one of my favorite types of word puzzles. I have loved them since I was a kid and my favorites were always those that were holiday themed.
Didn’t matter what holiday, I just loved having a special puzzle that was specific to the upcoming holiday.
So, when getting ready for our own Thanksgiving lessons, I wanted to put one together that my kids would love as well.
This word search is packed full of Thanksgiving-themed words that are perfect for kindergarteners and early elementary aged kiddos and are a fantastic way to work on spelling, vocabulary, and so much more!
You can print them off and use them as is with just a pencil or even colored pencils or you can slide them into a dry erase pocket and use with a dry erase marker.
