The sun is shining, the rain is gone (for now), and the temperature is finally staying above 50 degrees for more than a day. And after spending the day playing outside yesterday, I think it’s safe to say that our April showers brought plenty of May flowers!
Since Nicholas is really in to counting things right now we spent a good portion of our time outside counting things. We counted everything from bugs to bubbles, leaves to flower petals.
I love days like this because they usually give me some great ideas! Not only for things that Nicholas will love, but things that I’ll love sharing with you as well!
So today’s printable preschool math game is all about counting! A little continuation of our day outside :)
You can use this printable in a number of ways but what we’ve found works best for us is to laminate the flower page and cut out the flower petals. Then, all I have to do is write a number on the yellow circle portion of the flower with a dry erase marker and Nicholas counts out the correct number of petals and places them on the flower.
It makes it super simple to clean up and we can use this page over and over again!
Continue the fun with more preschool math activities that your kids will love!
