It’s really no secret that kids are much more willing to cooperate and complete their work when it revolves around something that they’re interested in.
Many homeschoolers use various forms of interest led learning for this very reason.
Now, if your kids are anything like mine, they’re probably obsessed with all things Minecraft and would prefer that over working on their math skills. Well, that’s okay!
Now you can combine one of their favorite pastimes with a little math practice and everyone wins!
Of course, if you’re anything like me, you don’t understand half of what your child is talking about when it comes to this pixelated video game. Don’t worry! You don’t need to know anything about the game itself to enjoy these fun coloring pages with your kids!
With this printable set, you’ll find four different hidden picture coloring pages that your Minecraft fan is going to love. As is, they are perfect for younger kids who are still working on a bit of written number recognition, but they can easily be adapted to work with older children that are working on somewhat harder math skills as well.
If you’re looking for simple color by number sheets as a quick, quiet activity, these are fantastic. If you’re wanting to make them a little more complex however, simply black out the number next to the color and write an equation, with that number as the answer, that your child will need to solve in order to figure out what color goes where.
You could easily change the numbers out with addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division equations!
However you decide to use them, enjoy!
