A day or two late, but the start of another new month means another brand new set of counting cards!
For those of you that are watching for these each month, you know that the past few months worth of cards have been more holiday themed. With Valentine’s Day, Easter, and more, we’ve had plenty of fun themed cards.
With this month’s cards though, we went with something a little more seasonal rather than tying them to a specific holiday.
For June’s cards, I wanted something that would just scream summer. We’re nearing triple digits already here so it just seemed fitting, and nothing says summer quite like a backyard BBQ!
Everything from the BBQ grill to hamburgers and hot dogs are included in these fun summer themed cards!
Like the previous months’ cards before them, each number is on its own page along with the number word and the corresponding number of pictures so that they are large enough for even the smallest of fingers to point them out and count them each, one by one.
While they make excellent, simple counting practice, there are so many different ways to use them! My little ones currently love finding small erasers or counters that they can set on top of the pictures to help them count each one and the preschooler enjoys covering up the number and writing it himself after counting the items.
