From the very first moment that you started trying to teach your child the letters of the alphabet, they probably started trying to find them within their environment.
At the grocery store, on signs as you pass them in the car, even in books as you read your nightly bedtime story. They look for them wherever they go.
Once they’re starting to learn the sounds that each letter makes, however, this gets a little bit more difficult as some sounds are harder to decipher than others.
Having some objects as a reference can make all the difference and these foldable alphabet books do just that!
These simple one-page booklets make it easy to reference objects that start with each letter of the alphabet and they’re even easier to put together.
One Page Foldable Alphabet Books
These adorable alphabet books require no scissors or glue.
Actually, they don’t require any prep at all.
Just print them off and you’re ready to fold and color!
Each one-page letter book includes a cover and three “pages” filled with objects that start with the book’s letter.
The only exception to this is the letter X. That book includes one object that starts with the letter X and two objects that end with the letter.
To use the foldable alphabet books, simply fold the page in half and then fold it in half again a second time.
You should wind up with the cover on the front and two inside pages as well as a back page that includes a picture as well.
The entire set prints in black and white so that your little learners can color them however they’d like.
Make each one while you’re making the alphabet crafts in our preschool alphabet book or use them to supplement the letters that you’re learning in your favorite letter of the week curriculum!
