With Easter just around the corner, we’ve been adding some fun bunny and Easter egg themed activities to our learning and I think it’s safe to say that we found a new family favorite in these finish the Easter bunny symmetry drawings.
Between the adorable bunny faces and the fun drawing prompts, these printable bunny faces are perfect for the Spring season!
Whether your kids understand the concept of symmetry already or are just being introduced to it, these finish the Easter bunny drawings are the perfect way to practice!
Finish the Bunny Symmetry Drawing
These fun drawing printables are super easy to use. Just print them out and they’re ready to go!
If you want to reuse them with multiple children, either laminate them or stick them inside a dry erase pocket and pair them with a dry erase marker.
Of course, if you want to just use them on their own with some markers and crayons, that’s okay too!
Just set them out with some art supplies and explain to your child that a symmetrical picture would be the same on both sides if you were to draw a line directly down the middle.
For these pictures, however, half of the bunny is missing and they will need to look at the side that is already drawn to help them recreate the missing side.
If you find that they’re struggling to understand the concept of symmetry, try holding a small mirror up to the drawn side (with one side of the mirror touching the paper) so that it shows the symmetrical mirror image that they’ll need to add to the bunny.
When you’re all done, you’ll have worked a little on those fine motor skills, learned about the concept of symmetry, and have made some adorable bunny faces that you can use to decorate your space.
