Out of all of the printables that we make and do here at home, some of our absolute favorites are Do-A-Dot printables.
Using letters, numbers, pictures, it doesn’t matter. Our kids seem to love them no matter what we do with them.
Now that they knows their colors (and like to tell us exactly what color everything is), I wanted to try and see if I could combine their love of identifying and pointing out colors with their love for Do-A-Dot printables. And, since I’m a sucker for all things Fall, I figured why not throw some of that in there too :)
From that idea, we got these fun dot by color pictures. A lot like color by number but with dot markers!
Just like regular Do-A-Dot printables, you’ll only need the printables themselves and some Do-A-Dot markers.
The dots themselves are already colored and are just waiting to be matched with that color marker to make a fun Fall picture!
In this Fall set, you’ll find an apple, a pumpkin, a leaf, and the word Fall in nice warm colors.
Once we finished up the dot pictures and let the ink completely dry, we busted out the crayons and markers and finished coloring in the apple and drew funny Jack o’ Lantern faces on the pumpkin.
The thing I love most about these markers is how versatile they really are. You can use them in so many ways and make so many fun pictures with them and this is one activity that I know we’ll be repeating over and over again if my kids have anything to say about it!
