Morning road trippers! Are you ready for the next leg of our journey?
When we last met, we explored the Midwestern state of Iowa with its sprawling corn fields.
Well, this week we’re staying in the Midwest but we’re trading that corn for wheat and sunflowers! We’re heading to Kansas!
I think you might just be surprised at all that you’ll find in the Sunflower State. Gigantic swimming pools, a slide taller than Niagara Falls, and the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean are all on our agenda this week, as are some other very interesting tidbits.
We’ll learn how we get flour from wheat and then use it in the kitchen all while learning what makes the state of Kansas so great.
So buckle up road trippers! We’re setting off on another exciting adventure!
