While every child is certainly unique and special in their own way, I feel like they all have at least one thing in common and that is that at one point or another, they all seem to love dinosaurs.
From the smaller herbivores to the big T-Rex, there’s just something about these prehistoric creatures that fascinate kids of all ages.
My own kids are no exception to this and because of that, we have been loving these dinosaur letter puzzles lately!
Whether you’re working on learning the letters of the alphabet for the first time or you’re seasoned pros that are looking for some extra practice, these alphabet puzzles would make a fantastic addition to your literacy center!
Upper and Lowercase Dinosaur Letter Puzzles
Included in this printable set, you’ll find 26 alphabet puzzles, one for each letter of the alphabet.
Just print the puzzles out, cut each of them into two pieces, and run them through your laminator.
Each puzzle contains two pieces with the first including the uppercase letter of the alphabet and a colored dinosaur.
The second piece lists the lowercase version of the letter and a dinosaur egg in colors that match the uppercase dinosaur, so although these are alphabet puzzles, you’ll be working on matching and colors as well as letters.
Set the puzzles out in your literacy center and have your child work on matching the upper and lowercase letter pieces of each puzzle.
If they’re overwhelmed by all of the letters at first, try introducing them a few at a time until they’re more comfortable with the alphabet.
