Another new month means time for another new set of printable counting cards!
With multiple holidays last month we ended up putting out two different sets, one for St. Patrick’s Day and one for Easter as well, but for April, we decided to go with a little bit more of a Spring theme.
Now, I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying “April showers bring May flowers.” Well, I sure hope so anyway because that’s the theme we’re going with for these next few sets.
The printable set of April cards, which you can download at the bottom of this post, perfectly represent the first half of that saying.
From rain boots and rainbows to umbrellas and more, these counting cards are adorable and so much fun! We hang ours up on the wall at the beginning of each month and practice counting them throughout. The toddler seems to have the most fun with this although her big brother does still enjoy it every once in a while as well :)
At the end of the month, we just take them down and swap them out for a new set.
Changing out the pictures every so often really seems to keep them both interested in practicing those early math skills and makes it really easy to tie them into whatever theme we may be working through at the time.
Like the other sets before this, each number is printed on its own page so that the pictures are large enough for all ages to count.
Hopefully, your little ones enjoy these just as much as mine have and don’t forget to stop by again at the beginning of next month for the May cards as well!
