To Use the Habitat Flashlight Cards
These habitat flashlight cards are so easy to prep and even easier to use!
Just print them off, cut them out, and run them through your laminator for durability.
To properly print these cards, choose to print on both sides of the paper and flip on the long edge.
Then, grab your flashlight!
Now, when your child first looks at the front of these cards, they’ll see a background image of each of the habitats.
The animals that live in these habitats are nowhere to be found, or so they think.
Finding the Animals that Live in Each Habitat
To find the animals that live in the habitat, your child will need to grab a flashlight and shine it at the back of the card while looking at the front.
You can also stand next to a bright window and hold the cards up to the light if you prefer to go that route.
As they work their way through each habitat, they’ll be able to use the light and the shadows to see some of the different types of animals that call each habitat their home.
