Well, we’ve had ourselves a bit of a crazy week and while I haven’t been able to get on and post more of our All About Me activities until now, we have been doing them during our preschool time each day.
We started out slow this week, with just a few fun activities that would help get us into a routine and so far, Nicholas seems to be having a lot of fun!
He loved seeing his name in our salt painting so much the other day that I knew he would love the rest of our All About Me activities.
We started off by printing a picture. But not just any picture, a picture of Nicholas.
Back on Monday morning when we officially started our preschool journey, we took a few pictures with our 1st Day of Preschool printable sign and used one of those pictures to create our next activity.
After printing the picture, we cut it into 5 different pieces using different shapes to separate the pieces from one another and used them as a puzzle. This activity was a huge hit and he loved seeing himself in the puzzle as he put it all together.
From there, our next activity required him to use a little more of his creative side.
We started off with our blank face printable and used the fact that we have one for both a boy and a girl for Nicholas to pick which one matched him and which one would match Skylar.
We printed off 2 copies and while I laminated one, Nicholas used the other to draw his own “self portrait.” He was so proud of the happy face that he drew that he couldn’t wait to color it all in :)
With the laminated copy, we used play dough to make different parts of the face and made sure we placed them all in the correct spot while naming the different parts.
If you’re following along on our preschool journey and decide to give these printables a try, I really hope you enjoy them as much as we did! Now that we’re getting back into our preschool routine, we’ll have plenty more to share with you!
