A big part of any outer space unit study is learning all about the planets and stars in our solar system.
If your kids are anything like mine, obsessed with anything outer space and/or rocket ship related, it’s a theme unit that will most definitely pique their interest as well.
If that’s the case in your house, then you’re in luck because today we’ve got some free printable outer space themed flashcards to share with you!
Now, I know, Pluto is no longer a planet but, it is considered a dwarf planet and is still part of our solar system so it, along with the sun and the moon have been included in this printable set as well.
Just print them out on card stock, laminate for a little extra durability if you want, and start learning! You can use them as is, or go ahead and print a second copy to use as a memory matching game.
Either way, they’re a ton of fun!
