Now that my youngest has reached a point where she’ll color without trying to eat the crayons, we break out the coloring books a lot more often.
Colored pencils, crayons, markers, she doesn’t care what we’re using, she loves it all. She’ll create her own scribbles on a blank sheet of paper and have a blast doing it, but she will go crazy over coloring books.
Now, she’s not really old enough yet to really start digging into preschool concepts, but combine something simple like the letters of the alphabet with coloring pages and she’s all over it.
Knowing that, I spent some time creating an alphabet coloring book that I knew she would love and even added in a little handwriting practice for my preschooler as well.
Each letter of the alphabet has its own page and the book includes a coloring page cover as well so the entire thing can truly be customized by your own little artist.
Along with a picture representing each letter, each page also includes a little handwriting and letter formation practice at the top so that your preschooler can enjoy them as well.
Whether you use each page individually as part of a letter of the week curriculum, add them as you complete them to your own alphabet book, or just hand them over as a fun coloring project, I hope your little ones enjoy these coloring pages just as much as mine have!
