So, when it comes to file folder games, I’m just going to admit this right up front, I may be a tad bit obsessed.
They’re just so easy to put together, they can be a ton of fun, and they’re perfect for sticking in a bag for trips to the doctor’s office waiting room, appointments, and add a few pieces of Velcro and they can even join you in the car!
This Christmas themed alphabet matching file folder game is no different!
One set of pieces can be glued onto a file folder while the other set fit nicely into a plastic baggie. Add a little Velcro and it easily becomes portable!
We’ve been playing with this set for the past couple of days already and while my 4 year old is enjoying, his 2 year old little sister is having a blast with it as well!
She obviously is not yet matching upper and lowercase letters, but she has already started matching up the different colored lights.
Within the download, you’ll find two sets of printables. The first contains a set of Christmas lights with the uppercase alphabet printed and the second contains those same lights with the letters of the alphabet written in lowercase.
It’s the perfect way to practice matching up those letters but it works great for sorting out colors as well!
