Although it may not feel like it, Spring is on its way.
Before too long, the snow will melt, the temperatures will rise, and the flowers will start to bloom.
Personally, I just can’t wait, so we got started a little early and are welcoming in Spring with our B is for Bumblebee theme unit :)
Buzzing and flying, these little guys just scream Spring and who isn’t ready to leave the cold and the snow of the winter behind?
We, most definitely are! And that’s where our first bumblebee themed printable activity came into play! We’ve practiced counting before, many times in fact, and now we’re putting those skills to the test with this bee themed missing number activity!
This activity is super simple but practices so many skills! Obviously those early math, counting skills are being used but your preschooler will also work on their critical thinking and scissor skills at the same time!
This printable allows your preschooler to work on numbers 1-20, but if your child isn’t quite ready for that yet, you could easily just have them find the correct placement for those that are missing in the first 10.
Either way, I hope these cute little bees help bring a little more Spring your way!
