As we head into the final week of July (seriously, where is the year going?), I’m already starting to see new school supplies hit the store shelves. While school will be starting back up for most within the next month or so, I can’t help but at least try to hold onto these last few weeks of warm weather and summer fun. :)
So this week, we’re taking some time to enjoy the beach!
Beach themed puzzles to be exact. And not just any old regular puzzles either!
That’s right! We’re breaking out the Mega Bloks again!
The last few times we’ve made some of these (for Valentine’s Day and Thanksgiving), Nicholas loved them.
Really anytime the kid can build things with blocks, he’s in heaven but add some fun, colorful shapes and pictures to them and he’s ready to go. :)
Using these puzzles is super easy! All you need are some Mega Bloks, the printed puzzles, and a glue stick.
We’ve tried gluing them on a few different ways and I’ve found that just using a regular old glue stick works the best. Not only does it make putting them on really quick and easy, but taking them off is even easier!
When we’re done with a certain set of puzzles, all I have to do is peel them off and reuse the Mega Bloks for the next set.
So soak up these last few days of sand, sun, and summer fun and enjoy some puzzles while you’re at it!
