With the back to school season comes lots of new school supplies.
If you’ve been around here any length of time, you know that that is one of my favorite parts!
From fresh notebooks to brand new pencils, I love them all.
So, what better way to celebrate learning the letters of the alphabet at the beginning of a new school year than with a school supply inspired activity like these alphabet pencil puzzles!
These aren’t just any old ordinary pencils though.
No, they’re bright, colorful, and perfect for working on both the upper and lowercase letters of the alphabet!
In fact, there are 26 alphabet pencil puzzles included in the download, one for each letter of the alphabet, and they’re super easy to prep for your little learners!
Just print the pages, cut them pencil puzzles out, and run them through your laminator for durability.
To turn them into puzzles, simply cut the straight line between the two colored pieces and you’re ready to go!
These puzzles are not self-correcting so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on your child as they use them to make sure you’re not overwhelming them with too many new letters at once.
If they are just starting to learn the letters of the alphabet, start off with just a few puzzles for the first few times. Once they have a handle on those letters, add a few more.
Pretty soon they’ll be able to match all of the letters of the alphabet together like a pro!
