Today, we’re visiting the great state of South Dakota and this state has tons of things to explore and see!
Whether you’d like to learn a little more about the Crazy Horse Memorial that will call the Mount Rushmore State home once it’s complete or you’re looking to explore the location of one of the deepest mines on planet Earth, this state study is packed full of fun facts that your elementary-aged kids are going to love!

Speaking of that Crazy Horse Memorial, did you know that this monument was first started in 1948 and is still being carved today?
Or that it will be a towering 563 high by the time it’s finished?
