Well, after a bit of a break to get our new school year started, we’re back with a brand new, printable state study.
This week, we’re heading east to learn all about North Carolina, the Tar Heel State.
North Carolina State Study
We’ve explored some pretty incredible states throughout our Explore: USA curriculum so far and North Carolina is no different.
From how the state got its nickname to the story of its lost colony, we’ll dive into some of the state’s history, learn about a few of its famous figures and even take some time out for a little mini golf.
Whether you’re interested in learning about the nation’s very first gold rush or are more into learning about the 12th state’s important exports, you’ll find it in this printable pack.
Want to extend your state study beyond what you’ll find here? These books about North Carolina for kids are a great place to start!
