Border to border, the state of Nevada covers more than 100,000 square miles and the majority of that land is dry, arid desert.
It may not sound like much from that short description, but the truth is that the Silver State has so many amazing things to offer and we’ll learn about quite a few of them in this printable Explore: USA state study.
Nevada State Study
Now, when you think of Nevada, you first thought may be of Las Vegas as it is Nevada’s most famous city, but did you also know that thanks to the state’s mining operations, it is the fourth-largest producer of gold in the world, or that the nation’s first Latina elected to the U.S. Senate came from the great state of Nevada?
No?
Well, don’t worry! We’re going to cover all of that in this Explore: USA pack.
We’ll even learn a little about Nevada’s desert dwellers, including just how sticky they can be.
