Mega Blok puzzles have become a bit of a mainstay in our house.
We always seem to have at least one or two sets ready to be put together. Since we started creating and using them, we’ve tried many different variations and the preschooler and kindergartner both seem to love them all.
Of course, since we first started making them a few years ago, they have increased a bit in difficulty. We’ve gone from basic picture puzzles made with 2 or 3 blocks to larger, more detailed pictures made with several different sized blocks.
More recently, we moved up to CVC word puzzles. Short A CVC words are a whole lot more fun to practice when you’re putting together puzzles and building with blocks.
Now, we’re continuing that practice but moving onto the next vowel!
Middle E CVC Word Mega Blok Puzzles
Just like our other Mega Blok printables, these short vowel puzzles are super easy to use!
After you’ve downloaded the printable set below, just cut them out, and use a glue stick to attach them to Mega Blok pieces of the correct size.
Once the glue is dry, you’re ready to play!
With 18 different middle E words included, you could easily set multiple puzzles out for your kindergartner to work on or, if they’re just getting started with CVC words, set out two or three for them to work on at a time and add more once you feel they’re ready.

Of course, if you’re not really feeling up to gluing each of the pieces onto separate Mega Bloks, you could instead, simply cut out each one and simply have your child put them together like regular puzzles. If your child needs a little extra help, print out two copies of each puzzle and leave one intact so that they have something to look at and reference while putting theirs together.
Either way, they make practicing those beginner words a whole lot more fun!
