When it comes to planning out holiday meals, finding something that keeps the kids entertained is a big part of it and these free Thanksgiving placemats to color are perfect for that!
These printable placemats are not only a fun way to keep those little hands busy, but they’re a fantastic way to work on those fine motor skills as well as they require absolutely no prep on your part beyond printing them off.

Set the dinner table (or even a classroom table!) as you wish and keep those little ones busy by setting these up over on the kids’ table!
Just download and print off the pdf file, set them out with a box of crayons, some colored pencils, or even a few washable markers and let your little ones’ creativity shine as they wait for Thanksgiving dinner!

Coloring Placemats for Your Thanksgiving Table
These free printable placemats include six different designs for your kids to choose between and include simple coloring pages as well as a few activity pages that kids of all ages are going to love!
The first three pages in this set include a Happy Thanksgiving coloring page, a cornucopia and fall leaves coloring page, and a turkey coloring page because it just isn’t Thanksgiving without a fun turkey or two!
The final three pages in this set include a few activity pages.
First, your kids can test their knowledge of produce by identifying and circling the vegetables.
Then, they can show off their own creativity by drawing their own picture of something they’re thankful for and finally, they’ll get to work on finding some Thanksgiving-themed words like cranberry, pumpkin, and family in a Thanksgiving word search.
Each one of these Thanksgiving placemats print off on legal size paper, so they allow plenty of room for whatever creative designs and drawings your kids can come up with.
Use as is or laminate!
Obviously, you could use these Thanksgiving coloring placemats as they are, just print them off and use them as place settings for Thanksgiving dinner or, if you’d prefer, you could also take the time to laminate them and pair them with a set of dry erase markers and a few paper towels or erasers so that you could use them again and again.
