Teaching young children the letters of the alphabet is obviously a vital part of them learning to read later on, but it can be a bit confusing for them when they’re first starting out.
With each letter having two forms, both an uppercase version as well as a lowercase version, and with some letters even having multiple sounds, it’s no wonder that it may be a bit of a challenge.
Fortunately, making it fun can help them retain quite a bit of that knowledge and for those little ones that are learning to associate the upper and lowercase letters together, this printable Halloween themed alphabet matching is the perfect way to start!
Not only is it fun, but it makes a great last minute Halloween activity to get everyone into the spooky holiday spirit! Just print the letter puzzles out, cut them in half, and work with your preschooler to match the uppercase letter to its lowercase counterpart. Super easy!
