With our oldest being in kindergarten, we’re currently working on learning to read, and with that, we do a lot of reading out loud. That includes both short storybooks that he can read himself as well as longer books that we read together.
With these longer books though, comes the need to break them into parts and read them a little at a time without losing track of where we left off.
Now, obviously, we could use anything, including a scrap of paper, as a bookmark, but it’s just so much more fun when you have seasonal bookmarks that you can color yourself!
There is just something about having an adorable little owl or turkey on your bookmark that you get to color yourself that makes picking up your newest book a whole lot more fun!
And these printable bookmarks couldn’t be easier to use! Just print, color, and cut.
More than likely, you’ll want to print these out on card stock so that they’re thicker and a bit more durable.
After printing, just grab some crayons or markers, choose your design, and get decorating! There are six different Thanksgiving themed designs to choose from.
Cut them out when you’re satisfied with how they look and they’re ready to use!
