Work on a number of different sight words and gross motor skills at the same time with this sight word fishing activity!
What’s Included:
This set includes printable fish covering three different sight word lists:
- Dolch pre-primer
- Dolch primer
- Fry 1st 100
To Use:
Print off the sight word fish that you’d like to use, cut them out, run them through your laminator, and stick a paperclip onto each one to make them magnetic.
Build a large magnetic fishing pole by attaching a long string to a long stick or wooden dowel rod and using either tape or a hot glue gun to attach a magnet to the other end of the string.
Call out various sight words and have your students use the fishing pole to catch the correct sight word fish.
