Alphabet tracing strips are a fantastic way to not only work on reviewing the letters of the alphabet with your preschooler, but to also begin working on letter formation, handwriting skills, and even pencil grasp for those children who need a little extra practice.
Simply cut apart and laminate the included strips and then either leave them as individual strips for multiple children to practice with at once or punch a hole in a top corner and secure with a book ring.
Using a dry erase marker, have your students trace the strokes that make up each letter.
This set is also included in The Ultimate Preschool Printable Bundle. If you have purchased that bundle, you do not need to purchase this set separately.
2 sets of tracing strips are included.
Both the upper and lowercase letters of the alphabet are included in this set with the two sets divided for easier printing. Each strip contains either the upper or lowercase version of one letter along with a picture that corresponds with that letter.
- Rather than practicing all of the letters at once, start by having each child search out the letters in their name to work on first.
- For older children, have them find and trace the letters found within their sight or spelling words for the week.
