Count and clip cards are one of our absolute favorite quick activities!
You can tailor them to fit any theme and they’re such an easy way to work on those early math skills while getting in a fine motor workout at the same time.
Personally, I’ve lost count of just how many different sets we have floating around our house at this point, but with Summer coming up, I figure there’s always room for another one and these seashell count and clip cards make the perfect addition!
While we already have several Summer-themed sets, these watermelon, firefly, and ice cream-themed sets, for example, we didn’t have anything related to the beach just yet, and honestly, nothing says Summer quite like the beach.
The sand, the sun, the water… It all just screams Summer!
So, the seashell count and clip cards were born and they’re already a huge hit!
Did I happen to mention that they’re super easy to prep?
Well, they sure are!
Just print them off, cut them out, and run them through your laminator for durability.
Pair them with some clothespins, binder clips, paperclips, or something similar and you’re ready to start counting!
You could even throw them into a plastic pencil box and take them with you on the go or pair them with a few of these plastic seashell beads to extend the hands-on learning!
