What’s Included:

Within this download, you’ll find a blank “parking lot,” multiple printable cars, and four sets of sight word cards.

  • Dolch pre-primer
  • Dolch primer
  • Dolch first grade
  • Fry 1st 100

To Use:

Print off the parking lot, the cars, and the sight word card set that you’d like to practice and run everything through your laminator.

To add the fine motor element to this activity, use either a hot glue gun or some double-sided tape to attach the laminated cars to some wooden clothespins.

Then, use a dry erase marker to write several different sight words on the empty parking spaces.

Give your students a sight word and have them find the correct word and park their car in the correct parking space by either setting it on top of the word or by clipping it onto that spot.

When they’re done, simply erase the sight words to add a few new ones!
