Since we’re right in the middle of our bumblebee theme and my oldest has been on a counting streak lately and wants to count everything he sees, I combined the two to create this printable bumblebee counting activity that is perfect for spring.
In the download, you’ll find the beehive as well as numbered circles and bumblebees that you can cut out and use. The printable includes numbers 1-10 and if those are the only numbers you are currently focusing on, all you’ll need to do is print, cut, and count.
We actually decided, after we had it all cut out, to continue counting above the number 10.
An fun (and easy) way to do this is to print out a second page of bumblebees, laminate your beehive page, and use a chalk marker to write your numbers. When you’re ready to count another set of bees, just wipe the marker off with a damp cloth and start again!
This is also a fantastic opportunity to have your child practice writing their numbers!
We loved it so much we wound up going back through numbers 1-10 again and just wrote the numbers in as we went :)
