Do you have a houseful of picky eaters?
Getting your kids in the kitchen is not only a great way to spend some time together as a family, but is a fantastic way to introduce them to new foods as well.
Which is why I am so excited about this new series…
Starting next Monday, myself and the rest of the amazing bloggers from the Think Outside the Toy Box summer series are returning with 6 weeks of kid-friendly recipes that are not only fun for the kids to eat, but fun for them to make as well.
Every Monday morning you’ll find fun new ways to turn your little ones into little chefs as we make our way through a few different themes!
August 25 – What’s for breakfast?
September 1 – Let’s do lunch!
September 8 – Dinnertime!
September 15 – Delicious desserts!
September 22 – Snack Attack!
September 29 – Kid Creations (Let your kids come up with a recipe! Success or fail, it will still be fun!)
I personally, cannot wait to get Nicholas into the kitchen a little bit more! On top of the food allergy issues we face with him, he is probably one of the pickiest eaters I have ever met and hopefully, this will help us out some.
And you never know, getting your kids to help out in the kitchen may just make them appreciate mom’s cooking a little bit more 🙂 Once they see what all goes into prepping and making a meal, it could turn out to be a great thing for both of you!
Are you ready? Grab the kids, pull together a few ingredients, and join us for the next 6 weeks as we get the kids in the kitchen and see what we can come up with! And while you’re at it, don’t forget to stop by and check out what the rest of the group is up to!
