At this point in our month of alphabet printables, we’ve shared our new favorite alphabet flash cards, but today’ we’re going to expand on that set a bit with a sign language version!
Whether you know someone that is either deaf or hard of hearing or you’re simply interested in learning American Sign Language for yourself, these sign language alphabet flash cards are the perfect place to start!
Whether you’re trying to start your kids on the road to learning another language early or you’d like to try your hand at sign language yourself, these sign language alphabet flash cards make a great starter set.
Each letter of the alphabet is included on its own card, and like our basic set of alphabet flash cards, you can easily string these onto a book ring to keep them all together and take them with you when you’re on the go.
To use them, simply print the cards, cut them out, and run them through your laminator for durability if you’d like.
There are so many ways that you can use these cards to practice!
You could hang them up on the wall along with this set of alphabet flash cards as a reference tool for your children to look at whenever they’d like and if you do print both sets, you could even use them together as a matching game!
Want to use them to review the sign language letters? Once your child has learned all of the signs for the letters of the alphabet, simply cover the letters on a card and have your child determine the letter by looking at the sign and recreating it with their own hand.
Or, try printing two sets of the sign language alphabet flash cards and use those together to create a memory game on its own.
Use your imagination and your little ones will know the basic signs for the letters of the alphabet in no time!
