We’ve obviously spent quite a bit of time over the past few months, learning the letters of the alphabet in our home preschool.
What with creating our alphabet book, working our way through our Spot & Dot pages, and even enjoying some basic coloring in our alphabet coloring book, I think it’s safe to say that we’ve gotten plenty of practice in.
With the almost 3 year old joining us for preschool time recently though, I’ve been adding in a few more simple activities to keep her busy and give the preschooler an extra chance to fit in a little review as well.
These printable upper and lowercase alphabet puzzles perfectly covered both of those!
Not only did the preschooler enjoy searching out the matching pieces, but the toddler had a blast as well and it didn’t take her long at all to start figuring out which pieces went together.
This printable set includes 26 two-piece puzzles, an upper and a lowercase piece.
Once you have cut the puzzles into pieces, each side will also contain one half of a corresponding image as well, making it easier for toddlers to begin matching the pieces.
Whether you’re using them as a chance to review with your preschooler, or are introducing letters to your toddler, these are so easy to pull and use!
Put them together to be used as a letter matching busy bag, or if your child is just starting to learn their letters, give them just a few puzzles at a time so that they can work on mastering those first before moving on to more.
We, of course, laminated ours so that they would stand up to the toddler a little while longer, but whether you do or not is entirely up to you!
