Now, I don’t know about you, but math has never been my favorite subject. I did just fine in my own math classes but it was never something I enjoyed and it has been years since I last worked on complex equations.
Since my oldest is a preschooler at this point, I’ve got plenty of time before I need to start worrying about it, and even then, I may not need to worry at all!
I was recently introduced to a program called iPractice Math that is going to be a lifesaver as my kids progress through their educational years!
You know what they say, practice makes perfect, and that applies to math as well! The more you practice, the easier it will be to understand and with 24/7 online learning, your kids will have plenty of time for practice!
There are so many different areas within this site that you could spend hours exploring and still not see everything they have to offer.
Whatever you’re working on, whether you want to break it down by grade level (grades 1-12 are offered on the site) or by concept, you’ll find just what you’re looking for.
Get them going with some practice questions to make sure that they’ve mastered a concept and when they’re done, you (as the parent) can see how they did! As the parent you have complete control. Monitor their progress with reports in real time, get access to tons of easy to use worksheets that can all be downloaded for free, and even issue certificates to your kids to keep them encouraged and motivated!
Personally, I love how easy iPractice Math makes it for parents and students alike to navigate their site and find just what they’re looking for.
I’m especially looking forward to the Calculus section once my children get older as that knowledge is no longer swimming around in my own brain 🙂
Are you nervous about teaching your children math at higher grade levels?
