Educents has you covered! If you haven’t heard of them yet, then you should head over now and check them out. Like seriously, RIGHT now!
Educents is a lot like your typical daily deal site, but for education. Every single day they feature tons of deeply discounted curriculum products and other educational items. It’s like a homeschoolers heaven over there 🙂
Recently, the awesome people at Educents contacted me and gave me the opportunity to review a product from the Preschool Rocks Bundle.
Obviously, since Nicholas and I are working our way through Tot School, I felt like this was a perfect opportunity for us.
Now, since this bundle contains over 950 pages of preschool activities (yes, you read that right, almost 1,000 pages!), there is no way we could possibly review them all so, we chose a single item from the pack.
The Sand and Water Table Task Cards could not have been a bigger hit with Nicholas.
We did modify a few of the activities in the pack to accommodate for the fact that he is only 2 but most of them were just perfect for him.
With Nicholas’ sensory issues, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. We’ve played with a ton of sensory bins before and sometimes he loves them while other times he freaks out. It really is a hit or miss type of thing.
Fortunately, he dug right in!
We spent the entire afternoon digging through the sand to see what we could find.
He was a little nervous about getting his entire hand covered in sand, so he made sure to be very careful when pulling out his findings.
We used the worksheets from the pack to keep track of the letters that we found and then we separated all of our magnetic letters by color (although there is no picture of this because after they were separated Nicholas kept throwing them right back in the bin to start all over again).
Also not pictured, are the TONS of other ideas these task cards contain! They give you a lot of substitutes to try if you don’t have any sand or don’t feel like using it and a whole host of ways you can use the sand bin and a water table if you’re interested. Seriously, there are 36 pages in this single activity pack!
I think it’s pretty safe to say that this sensory pack will become a staple in our homeschool. With as much as Nicholas enjoyed the first few activities, he should have a blast with the rest.
So, now you’re interested right? Awesome! But it gets better!
Normally $106.00, the Preschool Rocks Bundle can be purchased through Educents right now for only $29.99! You’re saving over 70%!
So, what are you waiting for? Head on over and check out the bundle! If your child is anything like mine, they’re going to have a blast!
Have you tried out some of the products from Educents before? What did you think?
